About me
I am a PhD student at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) and a team member of the Brain and Physiological Data Group at the University of Nottingham.
My main research interests are in the field of Human Computer Interaction (HCI). I am particularly interested in understanding users' preferences and current mental workload through their physiological feedback (brain activity, eye movement patterns, etc.). My research currently focuses on exploring the correlation between users' Cognitive Style and their fNIRS data in the Information Retrieval process, aiming to provide insight into future search engine interface design.
What I'm doing
-
Human Computer Interaction
Understand the interaction between users and interfaces and explore how to implement human-centered design.
-
Mental Workload
Assess the user's mental workload when involved in different HCI tasks to better understand how to design user interfaces.
-
Cognitive Style
Capture users' cognitive styles to understand their preferences for information storage and processing to develop a more personalized user interface.
-
Brain Activity
Detect user's mental workload and cognitive styles via their brain activities.
